What we collect
Waitlist details you give us: your name, email, city wanted, home budget, deposit saved, monthly amount toward ownership, timeline and a plain-language credit range. We ask for exactly the fields matching needs and matching is the only reason they exist.
Calculator inputs: none leave your browser. The calculator runs on your device and its result is yours. If you follow its link to the waitlist, your city and verdict travel in the link so the form arrives prefilled and the choice to submit stays yours.
Usage counts: none are collected yet. The site runs no analytics at launch, so no counts of calculator use, waitlist submissions or page visits are recorded about you.
What we never do
- We never pull your credit report from a waitlist form and no form here asks for your SIN, banking details or identification documents.
- Outside the matching you sign up for, we never share your details with a property owner until you ask us to connect you with a specific home.
- We never hold deposits or purchase funds. We are a directory, not a brokerage.
How the directory makes money
The directory is free for visitors. When a waitlist match leads to an introduction, the operator or brokerage serving your city pays Jellyfish a flat introduction fee. That fee is the same whether or not anything follows from the introduction: we never take a percentage of any home sale and no fee depends on a deal closing. Operators may also pay flat marketing fees for their profiles later. No payment ever buys position in a directory — the order on every shelf is geography and alphabet, not money.
How long we keep it
Waitlist details are kept while you are on the waitlist and removed when you withdraw. You may ask what we hold about you, ask for corrections or ask for deletion at any time — send the request through the contribute page and it reaches the same desk that runs the waitlist.
How forms reach us
The waitlist and contribute forms deliver to Jellyfish Real Estate directly and submissions are stored on our own systems. Community reports and photos wait in a moderation queue until we check them and nothing you submit publishes automatically.
